We will be attending the ORACLE Openworld Conference in San Francisco from October 11th until October 16th. As we look to modernize our software and develop new strategies to deploy and deliver our application suite, we are challenged with the task of carefully balancing our time and resources between existing client projects, support maintenance activities, and C-DAT's own development projects. We are currently at the research and planning stage as we plan to re-invent ourselves here at C-DAT. Attending the ORACLE Openworld Conference will answer many of the questions we have while building upon existing business relationships and forming new ones. As an ISV and ORACLE Partner, we are aware of the great benefits working with ORACLE, the world's leading supplier of software for information management. In particular, ORACLE's continued innovation with the ORACLE Database 11g Release 2 will help us lower our overall IT costs and deliver further business value to our clients through better application performance, easier database management reducing client maintenance time, and greater compliance with enterprise-level security standards. After 7 years in our current location, we are excited to announce the move to our new home September 3rd! After asking ourselves the question "Where do we want to be in 3, 5, 7 years" we concluded (as part of our strategic planning) this move will help us serve our current and future clients more effectively. Our new location offers: Better Security - the building is secured with key card access only and with 24 hr security guard services High Capacity Fiber Optic Connectivity - better application performance for our hosted clients Data Center Facilities in our new building - offering greater end to end solutions to our clients Neighboring tech companies in the area include Electronic Arts (EA), Kodak, Telus, MDS Metro Labs and HSBC.
